Lisa Lynn started teaching aerobics
when she was just 15 years old.
Her love of helping
others stay fit propelled her to pursue fitness training as a
career. After 19 years in the personal training business, her
passion has only intensified, fueled by the consistent results
she gets from her clients.
Lisa is certified by the International
Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) in fitness training,
fitness therapy and performance nutrition. She interned for two
years with Dr. Frederick Carl Hatfield, currently the President of ISSA, working along side
him doing scientific studies on weight loss and athletic performance.
Dr. Hatfield, best known as “Dr. Squat”, won the world
championships three times in the sport of power lifting, and is
a training consultant to professional sports teams, sports governing
bodies, and world-class and professional athletes. In 1985, he
launched one of the most successful sports training magazines
in the country, Sports Fitness, now known as Men’s Fitness. -->
Lisa is also a longstanding member of IDEA (a health and fitness
association that governs the industry) for the last 12 years. |

Lisa
believes in a straightforward, ‘fact-not-fad’ based,
multi-tiered regimen, consisting of cardiovascular
and weight training, stretching, dietary components and supplements.
Lisa’s specialty is getting people to lose weight and inches
without spending hours in the gym. Her self-developed, time-compressed
workout is known for sparking physical transformations –
literally reshaping bodies – with her high intensity approach
to weights and cardiovascular routines. She continually gets dramatic
results for her clients within the first two weeks.
Lisa’s approach to fitness training
can best be summarized as “maximum results for the time
crunched.” Her most well known client of nine years is Martha
Stewart, who with her multiple businesses, certainly
fits the ‘time-crunched’ category. Martha Stewart
has said of Lisa, “she is the only trainer that
I’ve had who has made a big difference.”
Lisa has appeared on the “Martha
Stewart Living” show 25 times, sharing some of her workout
routines and fitness tips with the television show’s millions
of viewers. Her appearances on the show sparked daily e-mails
from viewers with their fitness questions. As a result, Lisa launched
a web site, www.lisalynnfitness.com, to share her fitness tips
with viewers not in the Connecticut area, where Lisa resides.
Lisa has appeared in publications such as
Muscle Magazine, Muscle Media, Physique Forum and IronMan.
Lisa resides in Norwalk, Connecticut,
with her husband and two children. She meets with her personal
training clients in her home gym, and also makes house calls.
